Under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Quality Operations, the Airframe Cabin Quality Inspector is responsible for the execution and confirmation of quality inspections as part of the production process with an emphasis on the aircraft cabin interiors (i.e., lavatories, galleys, overhead bins, etc.). The Cabin Quality Inspector must strictly comply with aerospace engineering specifications and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute technical inspections in the production process of the aircraft cabin interiors in the context of the authorization of manufacturer operation.
- Prepare and perform administrative, visual, dimensional inspection during the manufacturing process in compliance with design specifications, customers, and certification requirements
- Use SAP-based and SAL-based IT systems to document the technical inspections performed in the production orders by inspection ark.
- Complete other aircraft documents as well as prepare first article inspection reports in accordance with the AS9102 aerospace standard if needed.
- Support troubleshooting and participate in Quality Survey requests.
- Compile all non-conformance technical data in order to launch the SAP-based quality discrepancy sheets for the professional assessment in accordance with the manufacturing engineering documentation.
- Document all the technical inspector's results in the SAP based IT system.

- The principles, practices, methods, and tools used in the production line
- Handling and use of inspection tools used for length measuring techniques (mechanical, optical, electrical)

Supervision Received:
- The work is performed under general supervision
- • High school diploma / GED (Carrera técnica / Preparatoria).
- Associates degree in technical discipline is desirable
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License (A&P), including inspection authorization is preferred.
- • 5+ years of relevant experience with an emphasis on structural components and assemblies.
- • Airline experience is desirable.
- Authorized to Work in Mexico
- Fluent Spanish & English – reading and writing is required
- Pass pre-hire background check including DMV and credit screening
- Pass Pre-hire Drug Screening
- Reliable transportation - must have current/active drivers' license
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Productivity: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.
- Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.
- Environment: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the SMS team, and external customers.
- Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
