The Program Manager will drive the successful execution and implementation of projects in support of TRIGO ADR Americas’ Aerospace Customers and Suppliers. The Program Manager will plan, organize, and manage all activities necessary to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects within established objectives. Working onsite at either our customer’s or Supplier’s location, the Program Manager is the liaison with executive management and all functional departments to understand Customer / Supplier requirements and drive results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees project life cycle and ensures results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, scheduling, and cost
  • Acts as primary Supplier and Customer liaison for program activities, leading program review sessions to discuss schedule, resource, and technical performance.
  • Engages Supplier Program Management team on behalf of TRIGO ADR Customer to drive successful execution and implementation of projects
  • Facilitates timely decisions to maintain project schedule while providing metric updates to management
  • Follows established guidelines to manage the completion of project milestones from beginning to end of the lifecycle
  • Identifies project risks and provides solutions to minimize/eliminate risks, monitoring key project processes for compliance with objectives.
  • Supports internal distribution of all project-related documentation for review and revisions as required
  • Builds strong relationships with Suppliers and Customers, and develops a deep understanding of their objectives
  • Participates on integrated product team (IPT) as required and acts as a proactive team member to ensure successful project execution
  • Establishes effective communication cadence with all project stakeholders and implement escalation process
  • Manages project scope to include project initiation, scope planning, scope definition and scope change control activities.
  • Ensures communication and exchange of information from different department heads that directly impact programs
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Travel 50% to 75%

Education and Experience:
  • Education – B.S. degree in applicable engineering discipline, business or equivalent.
  • Aerospace and Defense experience – 10 years prior related program management experience with multi-million dollar direct to Government and Prime Aerospace Contractor defense and security contracts, to include cost plus and firm fixed price contracts
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Experience establishing program performance baselines and monitoring adherence to program plans and schedules, and developing customer relationships to drive long term success
  • Experience in Earned Value Management
  • Proven competence in managing contracts and contracted activities,
  • Experience in analyzing and mitigating program risks
  • Experience in building and managing customer relationships to seek out and identify new business opportunities
  • Track record of leading and negotiating complex changes with the customer
  • Proven track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget parameters
  • Demonstrated experience in comprehensive understanding of operations of assigned contract(s)
Working Conditions:
Productivity
: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.
Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.
Environment: Typical office conditions, directly collaborating with the general manager, quality team, local and remote staff members, and business contacts.
Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours.

The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
