Data Entry Clerk
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our team onsite at our Metrology Lab facility in Ft. Worth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating data into our systems and databases. This role is essential for maintaining accurate records, supporting business operations, and ensuring data integrity.
Part-Time up to 30 hours a week; may grow to full-time
Mon/Tues 8 – 5 pm
Flexible schedule for the rest of the week can be arranged
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter data from source documents into the company database and systems
- Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy
- Update and maintain existing data records
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Identify and correct errors in data entries
- Retrieve and organize data as requested for reports and analysis
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company information
- Follow company procedures and data integrity standards
- Data reconciliation between systems
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Familiarity with data management systems and databases is a plus
- Office setting
- May involve repetitive tasks and extended periods of computer use

WORKING CONDITIONS
Productivity: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.
Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.
Environment: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the SMS team, and external customers.
Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.
The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
